About World ATM Congress
World ATM Congress is the world’s largest air traffic management event. It combines a large-scale exhibition, world-class conference, and premier networking opportunities that allow participants to exchange knowledge about the latest air traffic management trends and developments and build career-long relationships that help foster innovation and collaboration in the aviation industry. World ATM Congress, now in its fifth year, is operated by the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) in partnership with the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA).
The event takes place 7-9 March at IFEMA, Feria de Madrid and includes representatives from every segment within aviation.

In 2017, World ATM Congress expects:
Experts from nearly 100 organisations from all sectors of the aviation industry will deliver 120 hours of programming across five education theatres. These include product demonstrations and launches, panel discussions, and presentations on recent trends and developments. The theme of the Conference of World ATM Congress is Adapting to Change in ATM – Creating the Right Culture. Four sessions over two mornings explore how best to ‘create the right culture’ that will facilitate desired change, quicker, in this complex environment. It will start with an airline view – not just of the airline requirements but how the airline business has coped with and facilitated major changes and how it is seeking to respond to geopolitical changes and events. It will then look at achieving better performance through people and at how to collaborate more effectively between multiple stakeholders. It will take a fresh look at a specific example of the challenges of change in ATM - how to integrate remotely piloted aircraft systems and drones safely into and alongside airspace.
